Dark elf in oil pastel

I had this old package of oil pastels lying around, so I figured I'd try them out. The first attempt was horrible and has already been thrown away. This here is my second attempt, which came out a good deal better. That being said, I'm not much of a fan of oil pastels, and I don't think I'll be using them again for a good long while. I just don't have the patience for 'em!<br />

I have decided that blue skin is easier to shade than normal skin, as I get four colors to work with instead of two. Of course, then I went and used up half my white stick on the hair. Yay for drow.<br />
