A picture of my friend's puppy, Breezy, who is also one of the 10 puppies from my Golden Retriever's last litter. >w< Isn't she a cutie? <33
I had a lot of trouble getting that golden color. D; The colors I used for the fur were dark umber, light umber, and a tiny bit of orange in places (mainly the ears and that chest fuzz). I should go buy a lighter shade of brown...
ANYWHO, I am extremely happy with the way the picture turned out. :0 'Specially them ears. Man, I LOVE them. <33 Chest fuzz doesn't get too much love from me, however. Doesn't look very good, but whatever. I'm not gonna fix it now. >3
This picture made for a good learning experience. I found out that Prismacolor pencils look A LOT better on normal typing paper than they do on sketch paper. :0 I win. Andandand, I got to use my new Sakura Micron pen! <33 Love it to death! It's so much smoother than Sharpies, and the ink doesn't spread and make the lines look thicker than they should be. ;D More winnage for me~
Bytheway, any tips for using Prismacolors would be SO GREATLY APPRECIATED. I'm a Prismacolor newbie. xD
Mediums used: pencil, Sakura Micron pen, Prismacolor colored pencils, and Paintshop Pro was used for the background
