Duel series: Vader vs. Kenobi (Final round)

Obviously inspired by the "Sith" promo pic with the two characters in the same pose. I thought it'd be cool to see their older selves' version.<br />

This, the first saber duel we ever saw, certainly hasn't aged well, choreography-wise. But it's interesting from a pure fencing point of view; there are no flourishes or spins (except that one from old Ben). No feints. Each strike is intended to kill.<br />

From a drama and trash-talk perspective, this is still one of the best duels. Even before we got the full context, we could feel the history behind these two characters. <br />

I'm really shocked at how well Vader's helmet turned out after scanning. It's like the hardest thing to draw, PERIOD.
