A Questioning Gaze

Allowed for the first time to sit in on a war council, Arashi listens as plans are made for the first attack against Naraku.

"We'll be depending on you, Arashi. Your archery is second to none, in these lands; thus, it stands to reason that you will be watching our backs as we begin the assault." Sesshomaru murmurs.

"Are you certain I am ready for it?" Arashi asks, uncertainly.

"If you're not ready now, Arashi, then you never will be." Inu-Yasha says; the unusual gravity in his tone bringing on a deafening silence....
