The Forgotten Voice

Twenty-six years ago today, we lost an incredible voice. A voice that has been largely forgotten by all, insomuch that she wasn't even mentioned on the twenty-fifth anniversary of her death (believe me, I looked, and there was nothing).

I grew up listening to her music (thanks to my mom), and even listened today, as I finished this piece.

While it's true that maybe i should have tried drawing this in a realistic style, I know I couldn't have possibly done any justice....So I tried drawing in a way that I thought would at least show that at least I haven't forgotten.
