Description

A picture I drew during a college event that comes once a month. I would take out my laptop, hook it up to a monitor screen and have everyone see what I'm drawing. A girl that I know wanted me to draw her with her necklace glowing while she displays a heart shape with her hands. So I drew it.

I sketched this picture before the earthquakes and the tsunami occurred in Japan. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have titled it as such. Why does bad things happen when I leave Japan!?

And oh yeah, she liked it. :)

How did you the the glasses to glow? Its a pretty picture.

Photoshop.

I outlined and filled in the color at a certain area under "Screen" layer property, duplicated the layer four times, and used a filter on each layer, one less than the other, that "spreads" out the color, thus making a flash-like effect.

This is an amazing and clean picture! I kind of connected it with a specific anime I watched one with battling girls and cellphones, lol. The coloring is simple, and the lighting effect is a nice touch. I like the style here. Your message is quite appreciated!
