Shattered Value art project

This was another art project I did last year. The art teacher said that if you shade it like so it's suppose to look like it's shattered, I don't really see how it does unless you look really carefully around the Deathbat(the skull with the bat wings)at the lines but other than that you can't really tell, it just looks like a bunch of shaded lines through the drawing haha oh well hope you guys like it anyways and if you have any advice please share it, thank you :D
