Leaning against a Tree
After a painting of Károly Kernstok.
Károly Kernstok (1873 - 1940) was a Hungarian painter,
from the "Neos" and the group of "The Eight" (1909 – 1918).
He was particularly influenced by the work of Henri Matisse
Traditional media
Oil Pastels on drawing paper
This is my own interpretation,
painted in a bold and vivid style,
maybe reminiscent of Cézanne.

Thank you very much for your piece of advice and nice comment. :)
In the original painting by Károly Kernstok that boy does not wear much...
But not much is shown, and it is absolutely not indecent (at least to my eyes)
However, I wanted to be cautious,
(in order not to hurt anyone's feelings).
I decided to show even less.
Somehow, I managed to play with the shadows and colours.
I dressed him in light and colours!

Yes, by the style it reminds me much more of Cézanne's works than of Matisse's
