Not only they are kind and positive,
but also they are always deep and thoughtful,
and they show that you have some knowledge in Art which I really appreciate.
Also, I do enjoy reading the description of your own artworks;
there is often something to learn or to think about.
I have to confess that I don't know much the painters and poets of the Eastern Block,
and not much about these countries either, as a matter of fact.
So it is a great opportunity to explore, discover and enjoy your cultural treasures and particularities through your eyes.....  ;-)
  

Guess that's because artists in the Eastern Block between 1944 and 1990 didn't have much choice: either they worked for local totalitarian regimes, or "created works to their cupboards" as we call writing poems not to be published.

Another issue is that majority of poems and paintings created for Bolshocks and their vassals isn't that great quality to be mentioned. Especially prose from the "working class series" ( "produkcyjniak" in Polish ) , which is very cliched and quite predictable in reading.
