We can never be sure of anything:
not so long ago, the favourite candidate of the dems was hillary.
Now they have changed their mind in favour of old bernie,
 but these loon birds are like vanes in the wind,
and they can change their mind once again!

Anyway, I've heard that he's mostly popular among the hispanic minority and youth while Hillary is so among afros and pensioners.
I don't know which one would be a worse candidate for the democrats, but there's no doubt that Hillary would definitely be a wrong one. 

I have seen the recent polls and comments about hillary & bernie.
In fact the triumph of bernie was very punctual and brief.
hillary still has a very strong lead over bernie.
And I have read about the same thing as you, about the repartition of the leftist electorate, that is to say :
- bernie is very popular amongst people under 30 years old
- hillary is popular amongst afros and latinos
I don't know which one is the worst:
the hysteric socialist witch,
or the communist old mummy.
Both scare me to death!

He seems to be constantly mistaking "social care" with "socialism", despite those are two different terms.

His political program sounds like a plan to create a society of slackers paid by government !

This decrepit old socialist is constantly mistaken on almost everything!
He lost touch with reality.
His "political program" , if you can call this heap of  rubbish a political program is totally insane.
His economic model is absolutely not viable, and would lead to the American economy collapse if applied,
and therefore to the international economy collapse...
And all the chaos, misery and dreadful events that we know always happen in such situations....

I've read interviews with political scientists, who don't predict our old fan of socialism much success. He's got chances in California and leftist settlements, though his electorate is rather minority in American society.

Let's hope those predictions are correct ones.

I think it is rather difficult to make predictions on the leftist electorate which is rather volatile.
On the case of the scenario Trump vs sanders, 
wouldn't it be easier for Trump to smash old bernie under his talon,
