This is a project for class (ART102 @ UofAZ), it had something to do with design. Teacher wasn't too thrilled about the anime design, so I got a B.

fengshui3357i like your design, but it makes me frustrated that most art teachers have a prejudice against anime style... i recently submitted a portfolio of which many of the pieces were anime oriented...(this portfolio was to get into an art class) both teachers who reviewed it said that i would get into the class based on my willingness to work, and my "unquestionable" drawing talent, but that my portfolio was unacceptable because the japan cartoons, as they called them, were something for little kids and i would never get anywhere with them and finally i needed to start focusing on still lifes and the like. my parents still support me though and personally i think the art teachers are stuck in the past... you don't see too many people making much money off of selling their still-lifes on the street as you do japanese animators cranking out works for a hungry america that's been snapping it up ever since it was first created. it's not just a trend... anime is a way of life for some people... jeeze...
