Well, I finally got around to squeezing in the first drawing for a series I plan on doing.
Don't ask me where the idea was born, but I can tell you that this one wasn't supposed to be first. He just cut in line; he had to be drawn.
This wasn't his original pose, either. I took my boys to McD's yesterday, and I took my drawing stuff with me. Started this one while I froze to death in the playplace.
That "feather" (I know it doesn't really look like one but, meh...) is supposed to be a phoenix feather that looks as if it's on fire. I haven't been able to harness drawing fire yet, so that feather isn't really on fire (unless it looks that way to you, then yes...I meant to do that... ^_^)
Either way, I spent a lot of time on his back. I left the vest out, obviously, because I wanted to draw his back. Yeah, working around the wings would've been hard if I had drawn it, but I had ideas... And yes, he's wearing his pendant, you just can't see it. ^_~
I'm digressing... (I do that.) Anyway, there's my first installment.
(Finally, right?);P

Hyyyyyyyyyyyy I feel so good when ppl respond to my comments... and when I ppl... Saw a bit of your profile... Wooooow who have a family! Nice and you still have time for art ^__^ I'm only 17 with a big sack of dreams... You're from Texas! I'm from Romania..... Anyway what's the average temperature there? (i guess it's hot there). I'm asking 'cause a week ago we had extreme weather here (like 42 degrees C the most), the effects of global worming TTT_TTT. Bye, bye!
PS: and yes Karasu I mean it... don't believe Me? check my gallery!

Ditto there...I'm a yacker; it can sometimes be hard to shut me up (blame the hyper)
Yep...art is what I do between bouts of cleaning and refereeing. (I hate doing laundry) I do commissions now and then.
Wow! I would love to see the world overseas someday; so much more history over there. Texas is great, but I wanna see out there. Yeah, it's fairly hot over here normally. High temperatures here during the summer are usually around mid 90s F. (I don't remember how to convert to C )
I believe that you like Karasu! I was just wondering how I might draw him if the urge ever hit. I have an idea, but only with using a feather from him.
^^; ...Here I am writing a novel; I'd better stop. Take care!
