Realism- Near

>_<; I dont think I've ever been so embarassed to upload any of my art. This is my fisrt attempt at realism EVER. So yeah. If any of you have any tips, critique or anything like that I would LOVE that. XD Don't go easy on me!

There's nothing much to say about the actual pic, it was done on Adobe Photoshop. References were, Death Note Volumes # 9 and 10. I also used my 9 year old bro for face stucture and shoulder length and anatomy etc. etc. The background was done in, like, 10 minutes, so yeah it looks like TV BARF. Total time : 8 hours over a span of 3 days of procrastination.

Ps: I know the remote-contoled rubber duckie kinda ruins the mood but I <3 those lil' things. (and I couldnt draw a toy robot DX)

First comment. Good job! The only thing wrong with it that I see is that the eyes are crooked, but the coloring is fantastic! This is more or less how I think Near would look if he were real. I think it sucks that Near and Mello weren't in the live action movies, but at least they couldn't leave out L.

actually, near was in the 3rd movie... but as a child.

but anyway. this is brilliant, altogh i pictured him as asain haha
