Mobile Droid: Model 2: Deltan Class

These mobile droids, the Deltans, were designed more for artillery barrages, which explains the portable beam cannon clutched in the right hand. These droids are equipped with a powerful beam cannon and strong electromagnetic shield that is activated by the deployment of the black disks you see on the armor. These disks can also act as temporary projectiles and can also reinforce each other by being enclosed tighter together. These droids were used during the attack of the Spirit Realm. Warriors of the dead tried desperately to fight against the oncoming Imperial horde, but the strength of the droid shields were to great for them to pierce.
