Former Comrades

After the battle in the Disney Kingdom, Cunla stumbles upon a wounded Axis soldier no older than he. Having pity on him, Cunla takes responsibility for watching over the young man.
 
Now here's something that you might not have known. The wounded soldier was actually the original design of Cunla. Though his hair is the same color, its not as spiky. His eyes were also originally green rather than blue. This design came to be when I first learned of Cuchulain and Cunla. However, this was before I wrote "The Third Epic." I didn't know if I would use Cunla. However, when I started writing "Final Confrontation," I wanted to use Cunla. But the original design had been lost. So I had to start from scratch. Thus, the Cunla you know came to be. However, it was not until recently that I rediscovered the lost drawing. Being so good, I had to use it. This, here it is. Quite a twist of fate to have Cunla greeting his original self.
