Description

Yay, another Jack! I so love drawing him. I've actually done this picture twice, the first time in graphite. I like it better in color though.

As you might guess, I don't really enjoy spending time on backgrounds. Any suggestions for how I could keep it simple, yet make it look better than this?

I used prismacolor pencils.

That's AMAZING!!! wow! I'm way worse at backgrounds lol usually it's plain one color or no bg at all haha but maybe that's just cause I'm lazy haha

Ah my gosh! :D looove it! i don't like doing back grounds much either, but maybe cross hatch it or something? Haha, I dunno. This is ahhh-mazing!

Cross-hatching sounds like a good idea, but I REALLY stink at that, lol. I should try it next time though. That's the only way I'll get better at it.

I REALLY cant see anything wrong with Jack, too amazing there. But if you want to smooth out the backround; I suggest a Q-tip, works wonders on troublesome backrounds.

But other than that, this picture is beautiful, keep up the good work! x3

Very bright, beautiful colors! I like that noticeable shine on the jewelery on his head!
