Random monster creation. Just felt like drawing and i worked on it for a few days.

I was thinking that i don't really talk about very many animals that inhabit my story at the beginning so this is something i came up with.

JurJur's live in the Sands of Madness/the dessert.
They spend most of their life under ground out of the harsh sun. Sometimes they come out of hiding but only at night. If you were lost in the Sands of Madness at night chances are you will run into one of these guys.

They have no eyes but the hair bristles on their nesk and belly help them to manoeuvre around.
Jurjur's can grow up to the size of a pick-up truck and can live up to 70 years.
JurJur's live in a underground community with others of its own kind.
To survive they are known to pull their prey under the sand and store them in their underground burrows. They do this by day and night, because they can't really tell what time of day it is, they have no eyes.

liggybirdI like the idea of having creatures such as this one lurking under the Sands of Madness (could be a metaphor there?). Terrific drawing of JurJur. Very impressive pose with massive paws in the foreground. Details such as the knuckles on JurJur's 'fingers', the row of spinal bosses and the bonyness of the hindquarters are my favourite bits. Definitely worth considering at some point in your story imo.
