Another terrific page Danielle (and a lovely example of 'show don't tell' imo).
These three drawings take the reader from (1) the 'establishing shot' of the car (and the subtly suggestive 'Sup b i t c h e' graffitti) to (2) the interior of the car where we are shown Ethyl's distraught looking eyes (against a background night-time city-scape) in her rear view mirror.
The third picture brings together three significant objects connected with the thoughts going on in Ethyl's head.
Some nicely observed details like the scrap of litter in the first picture and the wood grain of the picture frame in the third. Excellent.
