Ancient Dragon

This was one of my favorite dragon characters and i havent drawn him in quite a while. He was the great dragon of wisdom, the most intelegent of all the dragons. He is the OLDEST of my dragon characters (but he'll never tell you how old he is). He was revered among other dragons until one day he just vanished, like he had never existed. He didn't leave a trace he was ever here, not even a footprint or scorchmark or even a scale to follow him by. There was nothing leading up to his dissapearance, no dissaster, no problems... he was just...gone... and never seen again... but never forgotten...


he had left for a better place... he was dead...

Where i can fly without even beating my wings
Sky so blue, take me home on a gust of wind
Where my grey scales turned to white feathers
Where dark resides to light and then...
...i'm home above the clouds
above the sky, to the far reaches of your dreams
where prayers and fantasies come to be heard...
and i'll sleep under the light of the pale moonbeams
