Savanna Queen

"What a nobel creature this must be" people think when i give them the description of the animal's powerful heart. Twice the size of a lions heart, it may chase it's prey for hours on end through the blistering heat or the cover of night.
"What a nobel fighter this must be" people say when I tell them of their powerful jaws, capable of a crushing thousand pound bite.
"What a nobel hunter this must be" people comment when i metion their cooperation in big numbers, grouping together in a clan with a maximum of ninety members.

Yet people seem to waste no time gawking when i show them the picture of the animal i tell them of.
"Ugly, stupid, mangy scanvagers" are among the first words they say.
Beauty is apparently more important than any information i can share with them.
Yet the Savanna Queen, the hyena, far away from these people, continues to do what she does best, survive.
