Fairy with Flower

A fairy I drew for a friend at works birthday, and for my mother's day card. I tried something completely different with my coloring this time. I drew, inked and colored the fairy with colored pencils before scanning it. Then I used the smudge brush to smooth out the rough texture that colored pencil has. I then enhanced some of the colors and detailed the wings. After adding the plain field background--cause I still suck at backgrounds--I decided that it was done.
