Bonds of Light and Dark

Oh...my...god...I FINALLY finished this!!*dies* i wanted to put it up yesterday but i had other stuff and i wasnt able to finish it in timeT-T well anyways! this is a gift for YukikoHisame with her oc Sasami and mine. we were discussing to draw these two as light and dark. maria representing light and sasami representing dark.although from the pic u might think its the other way around^^; im only goin to tell u y maria is in black becuz...i dont really know why sasami is dark^^;it was YukikoHisame's's idea^^ even though Maria is an angel, she feels like she's living in hell.(of course to be suspected from her past)she feels like she is dyed/stained in black and she cant get out.(until yugi comes along though;P)she wields a sycthe which she uses to bring souls to the afterlife. The sycthe is from Full Moon wo Sagashoote. I absolutely LOVE its design*~* so pretty...i liked coloring the blue parts^^ also on sasamis staff. Sasami's staff is from her heart pendent. I wanted the two girls to both have an item they use and i havent totally designed marias staff when shes ultimate sailor cosmos so i have the sycthe and i saw sasami have that staff in one of her drawings^^ so voila! The chains nd bow tied represent that one cannot exist without the other. like a coin(yes from LoZ TP...lol)the background has more darkness than light for a reason. there is more suffering in the world than happiness but there is still happiness and becuz even tho there is darkness there are still little lights of hope throughout the world^^ Sasami keeps on reminding me of Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura(more like tsubasa resevoir...)ok i think ive blabbed on enough^^; Enjoy!
