Marle (pic #1 for Jason)

Okay, here's part of Jason's request -- note that I said PART. That's because of how he worded his request. Hehe. Observe:

"Final Fantasy rocks! Will you draw me an anime picture of some final fantasy characters, or chrono trigger? I'm a huge fan of both."

He left a lot of specifics out...hehe. So now I get to do whatever I want for him! ^_^
And the greatest part is, aside from my request list, I have a list of projects I'd like to complete for myself. Among them are many Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger drawings. So I can just fill those out as part of the request, and everybody gets their way! ^_^

Now, originally this was supposed to be Marle and Lucca casting Antipode, but after drawing Marle I found out that there wasn't much room left for Lucca. I tried, but it didn't work out. So I just made it a pic of Marle casting Ice. There are a number of things I could point out about this pic that I don't like. For example, something's wrong with the shape of her head; in the original art it's more spherical. Also I'm not happy with the way her hands turned out, and of course the awful background because after the figure I was in a hurry to get it done. But, as they say, artists are their own worst critics. Comments please! ^_^

Drawn with a 3800 2B drawing pencil, inked, and colored with Prismacolor watercolor pencils. Touched up with a colorless blender.
