Description

Due to my obsession, this is Marisa Kirisame!

Marisa Kirisame is a main character of Touhou Project. She is a human magician from the series of vertical danmaku shooter games, and easily one of the most powerful and destructive forces in Gensokyo, the world where she lives. Watch your precious items, she's a kleptomaniac.

I'm rather happy with the way this turned out. I've never really tried to draw a character that I didn't make. Her broom-hand is abit off though.. oh well. "She's gripping the broom too tight, since she doesn't look exactly happy at the moment."

(The apples in the background are not a theme of hers, I just wanted to add apples. However, they are a reference to one of my favorite Touhou songs, Bad Apple!)

What could you added was stars, a sign of Marisa's attackes. Marisa Kirisame is one main character ( the second )

Haha. Thanks. I thought about stars, so that yellow blob behind her is one. However, I didn't want to litter the picture with them, 'cause I thought it was too generic.

Do you think there should me more than two main characters? I hope ZUN will have Alice Margatroid the third.

I think it's fine with these two main characters. I think Alice and the others should just come up when they're included in the story plot. Although, Alice would probably make a good third character.. but I think ZUN's sticking to human main characters...

Alice looks human, besides her doll attacks she can fly like no other human, Reimu can fly but she's an full human. Alice is near Human atleast.

And to think, she also has Rainbow Colored Master Spark, and Double Master Spark in her asrsonal as well... don't have the games with those though...

Yup. She's a human too, so you've really gotta give her credit. There are very few humans in gensokyo that can even use weak magic, then you see that... >_> I wouldn't want to be one of her enemies...

'cause she is the most human-like character in the world where she lives, even though she's a witch. Even the two shrinemaidens, and the human maid that also live there are less human-like than she is.
