I Will Always Love You

This is Severus Snape and my character Keira Slytherin in her seraphim form. Before i go any farther i should say what the definition of a seraphim is in my world...

Seraphim: A rare species of witch/wizard that have special abilities that surpass any normal witch or wizard. There are 5 different types: Death/Darkness, Fire/Light, Air, Earth, and Water. Legend says that 4 of the 5 are always descendants of one of the 4 original heads of Hogwarts. Slytherin: Death/Darkness, Griffindor: Fire/Light, Ravenclaw: Air, and Hufflepuff: Earth. Each ones has different characteristics and powers to them. Seraphim's look like normal people but when they unleash their powers, they transform into different creatures. There are usually 4 different forms a seraphim can take: human (obvious), normal (same personality as in their human form, just changed appearance, and increased power), savage (only occurs when one is enraged and still able to control their powers, appearance changes slightly from normal stage), and feral (when the keepers unleash the binding spell and take full control over the seraphim). The Death/Darkness seraphim also has a ghost form that whatever it touches, dies. Legend has it that in order for a new seraphim to be born "The couple must have the purest of hearts. If even one heart is corrupted, the new seraphim could be corrupted or not born at all." Many believe that the couple must both be pure blood (and of course, one must have seraphim blood in them), but others interpret to be just that the couple only must truly and deeply love each other, no matter what. When a seraphim is born, it is born in it's seraphim form. Because of this, no one really knows what the true appearance of the witch or wizard born as a seraphim is. The mother of the child binds the child with a spell when it is born, suppressing their seraphim powers until they feel they are old enough to control them, causing the child to transform into a more human like appearance. Only the mother can unleash their child's powers when they feel it is time (since they are the only one that knows the spell, each seraphim is bound with a different spell that the mother chooses). When a seraphim's powers are unleashed for the first time, they go into the feral stage. When this happens the seraphim is usually surrounded by at least 4 people that she trusts. These people then have to make a new binding spell that when activated, only they can control him or her. These are called the keepers. In a way, these people help protect the seraphim, but in the wrong hands, they could corrupt the seraphim and make him/her do as their will, usually something the seraphim would never do on his/her own.

Keira is the Death/Darkness seraphim. A Direct descendant of Salizar Slytherin himself.

Keira and Severus meet each other on the train to Hogwarts. Severus was sitting all by himself in a cabin and Keira decided to sit with him. Severus was shy at first, but after talking for a bit he started to warm up to her and they became friends. As time went on Severus started to slowly fall for Keira but was to shy to make his feelings known. The only one thing that he despised about her was that she was friends with James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, and, of course her brother Remus Lupin. She became the 5th Marauder and was nicknamed Whizcus (she can turn into a black cat...and Keira thought "Whiskers" was too boring so she played with the letters a bit to make it different). However, whenever Sirius and James tried to pick on Sev, Keira would not stand for it. Even after what happened in Snape's worst memory, she grabbed Sirius and James and told them that if they EVER tried to do that again she would make sure they could never have children. Keira was also followed by a lot of other male students, Sirius and Lucius being the more obvious ones, but Keira never fell for them. She had some feelings for Lucius because their families were good friends for a long time, and so Lucius and Keira saw each other often. But after a while Keira dismissed it as just a little crush and started to fall for Severus.

Severus and Keira finally started to go out together in the beginning of their 3rd year. Keira's mother, however was not pleased with this at all. At the time she was the Head of Slytherin and taught Defense Against the Dark Arts. She wanted Keira to get together with Lucius, a wealthy pure blood, not Severus, the horrible half blood. She only wanted Keira to be able to breed to make another seraphim, and she thought being with a half blood would ruin the chance of ever receiving another one. After seeing that Keira and Severus were getting to close for her comfort she made both of them come to her office after dinner one night. There, she tortured Keira and made Severus watch. She brought Keira almost to her death by putting her under Crucio and other harmful spells for a long length of time. After awhile Keira's seraphim powers started to rise up and knocked her mother unconscious. When Keira's mother awoke she found herself in Azkaban and slowly turned insane. At that moment after the horrible experience with Keira's mother, Sev and Keira knew they wanted to be together forever. They even exchanged promise rings during Christmas.

In the years that followed Keira and Severus went through the worst experiences of their lives. Lucius found out the exact spell by drilling it out of her mother that would unleash Keira's seraphim power (Keira's mother, just wanted to say it in front of Voldemort so he could have full control over her once her powers were unleashed). Lucius still cared deeply for Keira, and even though he wanted to serve Voldemort, he couldn't let her be controlled by just him. Lucius said the spell binding word to Keira while they were passing in the halls, and she went insane. Lucius and Severus (who was with Keira at the time) rushed her to nurse as fast as they could. Sirius and Lupin saw them and went along to find out what was going on. At that moment Keira's feral seraphim powers were unleashed. Dumbledore was there and told them that they all must say another spell that would bind her powers for the time. As they all (Severus, Lucius, Sirius, and Lupin) said a binding spell, the bracelets on her legs, arms, wings, and neck grew tighter and chains came out and into the all the boys hands giving them control over Keira (Sev: her neck, Lupin: her legs, Sirius: her wings, and Lucius: her arms). Dumbledore then informed the boys that they must say a different binding spell that would change her back to normal. Once they did, Keira turned back to normal and passed out. In the months that followed Keira was brought to a special school that would teach her how to use and control her powers. However, if the boys said those binding spells, she would go back into her feral state and be controlled only by them.

As time went by, Lucius was ordered by Voldemort to bring Severus and Keira to him. Voldemort wanted to be able to control Keira and breed another seraphim. With two seraphims he believed he could easily win his war. He told Severus that if he wished to keep Keira alive he would have to join the Death Eaters and told Keira the same (he would kill Sev, along with everyone she loved if she didn't join)...they agreed. In the years that followed Keira was raped and tortured by Voldemort and the rest of the death eaters while Severus and Lucius (Voldemort knew he had feelings for her as well) were forced to watch. When Keira was out of school and was considered an adult, Voldemort made Lucius rape Keira with Imperio in order to produced another seraphim. Lucius couldn't stand doing it and still regrets having to do it to this day. But he was successful and Draco was born as a seraphim. This is the point where Severus has had enough of Voldemort and goes to Dumbledore and tells him everything. Severus then turns into a spy against The Dark Lord.

When Keira finds out that Voldemort is going after the Potters to kill off her Godson, Harry, she tries to stop him. Voldemort unleashes the killing curse on her but at the exact second it should have hit her, she turned into her ghost seraphim form and survived. Everyone however thought she was dead. Especially since she went missing for 12 years. She stayed in her animagus form to watch over Harry. In Harry's 2nd year Keira returns to Hogwarts and is reunited with her beloved Severus. Severus and Keira get married a year later and she even gets pregnant in Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts. However, when Voldemort is returned to power Lucius is forced to bring Keira into the grave yard with the rest of the death eaters. Voldemort is infuriated that she is bearing the child of a half blood and later rips the baby out of it's womb right in front of Severus.

But still after all Severus and Keira have been through, they have always told each other no matter what "I will always love you"
