A bit about Stone Dragons:
They live in harsh deserts and when sleeping are often mistaken for large boulders, hence the name Stone Dragon. They are nocturnal, they sleep during the day in order to hunt the plentiful wildlife at night. Stone Dragons are known to have a very long life span, which is critical for their survival since mates are far and few and survival rate for hatchlings is very low. Females are the only ones to own territory, and are generally larger than the males. Young males scavenge until they find a female to share a territory with, and provided the female accepts them, they usually end up staying and having hatchlings. If the female doesn't accept them, or she already has a mate, the best plan is a quick escape, because females do not take kindly to unwanted visitors, especially if they have hatchlings around.
