Yay, my artists block is gone! Just randomly wanted to draw Ho-Oh yesterday, so I did...then I thought it'd look cool if his clenched claw had arrows in it, like the American Eagle...so I just figured I may as well go the whole nine miles and add the olive branch and the flag.
...I think he ate the eagle. Bad Ho-Oh! Bad!
I wanted to try some flat coloring this time, it has it's own elegant look to it. Shaded the parts I wanted people's attention to draw to. Overall I'm very pleased with this.
Photoshop CS4 + Wacom Graphire 4 Tablet + 1.5 Hours
