I was over at IMDb looking at the CATCF message board and noticed that almost every other thread was "Original vs Remake" and "Wilder vs Depp", so it inspired me to make this. Apologies to Wilder fans, he's a bit spastic in this, but I figured of the two of them, he'd be the one to lose his temper more quickly. I posted this on the board and people seemed to like it. They wanted a sequel with the '71 kids vs. the '05 kids!

lol i shtill love this. no i haven't commented before but every now and then i'll come and look at it. its great!! the first time i read it it was like one in the morning and i laughed so loud that i woke up my mom and got grounded. but she let me stay on the computer....O.o

I do so enjoy seeing these 'Wonka fight' pictures, they're great.....unless the person is trying to dog one of the Wonka's cuz they prefer the other one. I myself luv both the Wonka's as they both have their own unique and crazy personalities but i prefer Depp's Wonka since i just fell in complete love with the character.
Really does piss me off when someone goes all dogy about Depp's Wonka and rants about how awesome the orignal movie was and how much the new one sucked. *rolls eyes* COMPLETE idiocy on those peoples parts - they need to learn that 'remakes'(tho i don't consider the new movie a remake) are not bad things. They can be QUITE enjoyable and fun to compare against the orignal.

....soo ummm yea...i totally ranted... -___-. Egads, my appologies on that! I just get upset when i hear someone dog Depp!Wonka or the movie in general. ....damnit! I'm still ranting!! X3

I might be about to make a fool of myself... but... here goes...
GENE WILDER IS SO MUCH BETTER! YOU PEOPLE ARE INSANE! It's the hair. I love the hair. I have hair like that. Plus, I like the subtle humor of the first movie. But, I did like the new movie. I have only liked Depp in one movie... Pirates of the Carribean. That was a good one. *nods* I'm just partial to Gene because I've also seen Young Frankenstein. Great movie. I see burtonite has posted here... she's going to hit me tomorrow for posting this. Oh well!

I do like the Johnny Depp Wonka better. Not because Im a fangirl of his. But because I think he was closer to the book, and more realistically weird. I mean, they were both weird, but the Depp Wonka was more, insane weird. Like that was how he thought of as being normal.

But, I thought the original Oompa Loompas were better. Although scary.

It's hard to decide cuz they were both so good, but as far as following the book goes, I'd have to go with the new Wonka. 'Sides Johnny Depp is just HOT!!! lolz Not to mention brilliant in his role as Willy Wonka.

I didn't really like the original movie. EVERYTHING in that movie SCARED me, especially the Oompa Loompas! O_o; They're CREEPY! Wilder was okay, but Depp is MUCH better. (In my opinion...)
