Bleeding Red: Peace through Death

An assignment I had in my Electronic Culture and Media class was to create a pair of posters based loosely of the designs of the Works Progress Administration from the 40s.

Here is the first of two posters, featuring my character Hanen. He is a luna demon who had his spiritual link to the goddess Almatha forcibly severed. As a result, he went into shock, his psychic powers became "corrupted" and he was excommunicated from his dream career in the Royal Guard of Camida.

Since then, he's been an advocate of somehow destroying Almatha - through any means necessary. He becomes increasingly unstable and neurotic, and is responsible for multiple massacres, and well as the murder of one of the Head Rangers, Virno.

So yes, "Peace through Death". That's his slogan. Hanen stands for destruction as a means to ultimate peace and order, and freedom from a goddess he sees as dangerous and tyrannical.
