Picture for Luckylace222's halloween contest. I can't believe I didn't do a silent hill piece... well I was going too, i was originally going to draw the Live carousel, but I felt as though a spooky forset would be more atmospheric.
At first I was going to give storm (my oc) wings that were made from fog, but there was a lack of colour so I made them fire wings instead. I tried to get the glow from the fire onto the background and foreground, while still being able to see that the piece is at night ^^ xxx

GAHHHHHHHHH?!!! I thought you were not going to do one too. I am so glad you did. This looks like it will be one of the top submissions. ;o; *awestruck* This is just....I saw this in the recent pictures, and I was seriously thinking, "I wish that entry was put in the Halloeen contest! it would get so many points!" ANDWHATDOYOUKNOW. Who would have thought about cosplaying as one of the Yugioh cards! This OC is sure doing well! That is a well bought walmart outfit! xD If I was a bystander....I don't know. Your pictures- when you really use your fabulous colors- YOU REALLY KNOW HOW TO MAKE THE ATMOSPHERE SO MAGICAL. How di you make that cool gravel like ground texture with just watercolor? Tissue? If I was a bystander walking in a dark forest, and I see this bright opening of light, walk towards, and see this amazing sight of a fiery horse just minding its own business in a clearing, I would be both inspired and fearful. This is like a scene straight out of a fantasy comic/novel!

:D Like I said before I always look forward to your comments, you have a talent for it, lol'd at the first bit XD^^ Tbh I wasn't going to submit a picture coz I suck at drawing gore or scary stuff, but then I thought of the spooky foresty bit that I hafta walk through on the way home from college and the fact that I always imagine someone (or thing) in there consealed by the trees *shivers at the thought* (dunno why I scare myself XD) and this idea was born from that. ^^ The ground was made just by keeping the brush dry (drybrushing hahah) thb I thought it was too simple but I'm glad you like it :D Thanks for the detailed comment its appreciated, glad that you had the same view as me (seeing a light flicker through the trees before seeing the horse :P) xxxxxx
