Pulsara vs the hungry plant

Oh i figured a plant that ate living things would bleed red, like a plant in the real world "bleeds" water, hence the flower part being blood red (as if the plant absorbed dye). But yeah the vines should probably be red too.. The blaster on the other hand is a pulson blaster so imagine being hit by a 300 mile per hour ring of force. it's enough to destroy the plant above the surface but not it's roots, I figure the plant will regrow (Though Pulsara is ex-spacemarine so taking a life is something she's had to do before, she doesn't like killing though). :D Thanks for all the comments btw!
