Description
Description
A remake version of my Cloud MLP sketch, depicting what Cloud might look like in the world of Hasbro's My Little Ponies -- or more specifically, in "My Little FF7 Novel". Strange, neh?

The other day I needed inspiration to draw something, and my eyes happened to glance across my previous Cloud MLP sketch, where I had rendered his wings in the style of an actual MLP toy. This time I decided to render him the way I would normally render a pegasus, namely with feathered wings. He's still a 'Twinkle-Eye' though, and FF7 veterans may notice his modest loadout of materia gems.

There aren't many big changes between this and the last version, aside from the fact that Cloud is holding his sword this time. This was part experiment, really -- seriously, how else would a quadroped wield a strange and exotic weapon such as a sword?

The drawing and shading seemed to literally fly by. See Cloud's tail? Mixing the colors for his yellow tail took a mere five minutes. Am I getting faster?

Medium: Colored & 0.7mm pencil
Time: About three hours
Scale: 60px/in

PS: Apologies for the rather grainy image quality -- I think I unfuzzed the image a bit too strongly.

He looks like Terra's steed I'd say. My favorite FF is VI though for the original SNES. Wooo go Moogles! Anyway, the armor looks good, as always ^^, it's just the face seems a little long for an MLP. Don't they usually have the cute stubby looking noses? But it's still a good pic even though you said the coloring is more scribble. Keep it up!^^

While five minutes is indeed an acomplishment, the quality is not as good as your others. Colouring should take time. All art should take time. Rushing makes it messy.

Still, it looks wonderful. Which would almost void my previous comment, but I still say it should have been paced. Eh. The pose came out a lot better coloured than it was in simple pencil. And, in the penciled version, I didin't even notice the saddlebags and the like!

Another nice peice, Strata!
