Dragons in the Forest (2000)

Yet one more of my older drawings, and one of the few times I tried making a full environmental sketch. Even in my recent drawings I still tend towards individual character drawings rather than full scenes. What you see here is a drawing of a fire dragon in a forest, being surprised/ambushed by another.<br />

And like several of my older drawings, I drew this on the back of a class handout -- this one specifically was on the back of a review sheet for an Art History midterm. Look closely at the rock formation and you may be able to discern part of the date ("2000") showing in from the backside.<br />
