I really like this dragon: I have added you to my Favourites Gallery -- I have always loved dragons.  This one really caught my attention because my Real Life name is Holly (born five days after Christmas).  I haven't drawn any dragons in a while, but you may have inspired me. :) 
Any inspiration from Anne McCaffery or other literature, or more along the lines of World of Warcraft, or D&D type adventures?  Or is it more of a Pokemon sort of thing? :) 
My personal opinion about dragons: they're wise, they have old magic, and sometimes a dragon can see right into you and through you and reveal something valuable hidden inside you that you didn't know you had. And sometimes they'll just burn you to ash! LOL

Wonderful pic, Stratadrake! (Ya know, when I was a little girl, I had a horrid fear of Santa, but it is really comforting to finally know that it wasn't a big, scary burglar dressed in red and white climbing down the chimney, but a large, pretty, graceful, overgrown lizzard! lol)

In other words, he definitely knows if you've been good or bad, eh?

Awesome design. I love the christmassy colours. I quite like the effect the red and white gives. The holly wings are quite striking and stand out more. My favourite part are the christmas lights along the dragon's spine. Very origional design.

Hope you don't mind a small critique! I've been needing critique practices for sometime now.

The dragon's head and neck area seems a bit too big for it's body, almost like the dragon is about to tip over. The tail might need to be a bit longer to balance out the creature, but I've noticed the horror of not having enough room on the paper.

I think the dragon's torso would look a bit better if it had more shape to it. Like thicker where the ribcage is and slightly thinner in the stomache area.

Overall, excellent art work and amazing design!
