Inked Gryphon

Description

I need some practice with inking, and evidently it's quite easy to do.

Rough and unrefined gryphon based on a reference, practice work for a larger sketch.

Because ink is a lot more black than pencil, without all the heavy pressure. This will definitely be useful later....

Did you use a bottle of ink and a quil/pen type thing? That's what we used last year, and it looks like you used the same thing. It takes a while to get used to. ^^;;

This is awesome! I absolutely love the wings, and the bits of color on the entire drawing bring out those parts more! Excellent work!

Actually no, it's an artist pen, so it works like a normal inkpen or marker, only with India ink.

Oh, okay! It's just that way you talked about it sounded like the ink and pen technique we used. That's what I used in all of my drawings . .. before the quill broke. ^^;;
