Description
The main character from my NaNoWriMo novel.
Skree belongs to an amorphic species whose bodies are fluid and formless. Young members of the species are taught how to hold their bodies together in a solid-like form, and Skree learned to do after his mother's own feline body shape.
When young members of the species mature, they venture forth into the world, choose a creature of a different species, and fuse themselves with that creature, acquiring its instincts and body in the process. While it is a normal rite of passage for their kind, Skree is afraid at the mere thought of it, creating one of the central conflicts throughout the novel.
That, and he has an extreme fear of water.

Believe me, "putting a face to the name" was actually quite difficult. Throughout November I always envisioned a Warrior Ing (from Metroid prime 2) as placeholder for what the character would look like -- but now that I've got a set appearance for him I can actually add in some visual descriptions.Choco_Chick_87 on December 6, 2007, 3:22:54 AM
