Character Kitan from my NaNoWriMo novel.
Kitan is the family's scout, originally a silver fox but, due to being nearly killed by a Depraved during a fight, most of his fur acquired a deep red, bloodstained hue that would never wash out. Somehow, Kitan survived the injury not only physically but emotionally as well, with no effect on his disposition or demeanor.
