Character Hyran from my NaNoWriMo novel.
This hyena is a "natiif", the result of a special kind of Bonding which negates the usual scent that their species is so easily identified by. In other words, to the nose he is no different from any normal animal, able to move and spy on Depraveds without being detected. Friends and family call them sacred; Depraveds call them assassins.
