Description
September, 2000: After giving feathered wings a good study (thanks in part to my "Eagles" 2000 calendar), this was one of the first drawings I made utilizing my new feathers technique. Meet the new Sky Dragon, a species of dragon clothed by feathers rather than traditional reptilian scales.
Like several of my drawings from back in 2000, I made this on the back of a class handout, some of which scanned through from the other side. I had to spend some time on computer cleaning it up prior to uploading.

Nice job, Strata! I like the feathered crest on its head. It's very similar to the "ears" on many scalies. And you're getting very good at "realistic" wings. Keep practicing!
