Spined Gryphon

First drawing of 2022!  I have used this creature design in a few of my stories (one of my main characters is one, in fact).  An "alce" or "spined gryphon", the signature flares on the shoulders of this wingless, four-legged avian could be either decorative feathers or hardened spines depending on which story it is.

(No my art is not dead, it was exactly where I left it!  ...but I did need to get a new scanner, and one does not "simply" shake off several years' worth of rust.)
