Another one of my oldest drawings (the third, in fact), this one dates back to one class period of Art 205 ("Art History") where the assignment for the day was... of all things holy in a twelve-student class... STIPPLING! You know, the tap-tap-tap-tap-tap-tap... method.

Anyway, there is a long back-story behind this scene that I won't go into detail about. Basically, this mated pair of dragons (the female's on the right) were not born into the world as dragons, yet became fated to spend most of their lives as dragons anyway, the two medallions they wear being the only symbol of their true (human) heritage.

This took approximately an hour from start to finish and well over a thousand of the little dots.

Eoarahe hehehehe...thats great. the made us stipple when we were 11. big mistake. especially with wax crayons...anyhow! this turned out great! the dragons look amazing

YellowPilloooh...that is a lot of little dots! Stippling looks like it'd be a pain in the @$$. Anywho...great dragons! I can't draw dragons for beans.
