There's actually a movie out there, distributaed by Tokyo Shock (awesome company) called "japense hell". This isn't like anything in that movie, per-say. In Jigoku ("heLL", "underworld", whatever you'd like to translated it as) there are lakes of molten steel and blood, etc. And demons and yokai, etc, torment and punish the guilty for all eternity. This is more just one lone man, bathing in molten sulphur (from Daimajin!) while his agony is watched by various spirtis...a few who actually belong in hell. The horse headed and ox headed oni, the normal oni, for example. I just threw in a few random japense yokai in there as well, just to make the thing pop. There's no real effort i suppose put into it..shading is minimal, the characters are mostly single colored outlines...but i liked the simplistic idea of it, so i finished it. These are water color markers, i'm trying out..next image, i'll actually take a wet brush to it and blend things in. Still, i liked how it ended up...so as always, enjoy.

cause he's just a japanese business man who used his life for decadent living and wicked consumption....or maybe it's because you can't really work out when you're suffering damnation for all eternity.Nah, it's the first one. Tubby business man, powerful in life, damned in afterlife. See? sometimes the bad guys get screwed too.
