Description

Before you start crying tears of dead canon, let me explain: It's a response to a challenge on h_a on LiveJournal to draw hobbits as characters from other movies. So I chose to draw Frodo as Dr. Maturin and Sam as Captain Aubrey from Master & Commander.

The world's crazyfun like that.^^

EDIT: To prevent color draining, I take a desk snapshot of my drawings... on this one my mouse must have been in the frame. Hehe, ignore those little dots up in the air until I can figure this out XP

OMG! *jumps around!!* Suza, I love it. I'm in tears! It's so very cute, and the costumes are just incredible! The cravats make me so happy! And the background is so simple but pleasnat at the same time ^^ *favs* x 2 Suza, gald you're back!!!

Thank you so much! heh, I think Sam just remembered he can't swim. :D And the white is meant to be spray, I was talking about the black dots floating behind Sam. *hug*

eeek! That's so cute!! You've gotten so good o_o *adds you to her fav's artist list and fav's pictures* The shading is out of this world! Poor Sam he looks like he really doesn't want to be there ^^- as for the drops of white in the back, maybe it's the sea spray coming over the side?? =)
