The sunlight was shining through the treetops already when he finally arrived near the temple's enterance, overgrown statues are watching over the path leading through the jungle since centuries. The view was just impressive...
A new drawing/painting-mix thingie. I started it as a drawing with outlines but did not like the overall look, then I just kept adding details, foliage over foliage, plants, moss, shadows, patterns etc. and so on. I also had fun playing around with the light there.
I have no clue how many hours this took all in all, I was making too many breaks to tell now.
Scanned-in pencil sketch, fully coloured in PS CS2.

The dragon is nicely done, but it also seems to blend in with the background. However, some of the plants in the light seem like they were just stuck there. Perhaps try softening the shading, or removing their outlines.
