Decided to show ol Raz some kindness and let him enter the spotlight on this loving of all days. Sure he may look scarey and frightening to the simplest of eyes. But look closer and you'll see that he is the kindest and most tender hearted of souls. I know this for a fact for I've seen his mercy.

He wont attack unless attacked first (This usually involves humans.), though his brothers are black hearted and cruel he still mourns taking their lives. Also when he fights Janos Audron, who has been possessed by the evil Hylden lord, in a momentery lapse of freedom from the dark spirit's grip; the ancient vampire begs Raziel to take his life. Raziel cannot bring himself to kill Janos though he begs it and with that is killed instead when the evil Hylden lord takes over the ancient vampire once more.
And when it comes right down to it, he sacrifices himself to Kain's sword inorder to save them both from being eternally trapped in a mountain of rubble courtesy of the wicked Elder God. And the noble thing is, he makes this choice...no one is forcing him to do it.

Plus Raziel never really had a happy story to begin with. And he wasent always this freaky looking. Infact he was downright drop dead gorgeous at first. But I think Raziel can tell you how his life turned to hell himself in this moving clip. xP
