Pep Talk

(For those of you who recognize the fella talking to Raziel, yes he original came from the Dark Hunters book series...but it's recently been manga-ized so im not stepping out of bounds putting this pic here. xP)

Anyways; the minute I finished reading up the fourth Dark Hunter manga and finished playing soul reaver 2; I HAD to get these two chatting in a comic after hearing "Born this way" by Lady Gaga. They seem like the perfect friends, dont ya think? =P

And incase you are wondering, the big tall hunk of man talking to Raziel is Acheron from the Dark Hunters novels and recent manga issues. However he's not without a connection to our blue lil wraith, considering in my fanfics "Lullaby for a Stormy Night" and "To Challenge the Night" he's Raz's new boss and the new Thanatos, God of Death and rebirth, though he is still also Apostolos; all mighty Atlantian god of the final fate who puts the other three to shame in the power department. However he still much rather prefers his old name Acheron or Ash..since he sees "Thanatos" as a title; like "Dr." Or "Prof." etc. xP

In later writings, you'll all see (Who read my fanfics that is xP) that these two have more in common than you think, though if you dont want to wait on my lazy arse, go pick up "Acheron" by Sherillyn Kenyon and read up on the soul reaver series along with Legacy of Kain Defiance. Anywhos, it's these similarities that help the two become more than just god and soul reaper, something they both craved more than anything else...best friends. nn

Enough mushy ramblings though; moving on about the explaination of the pic: Seems the singer and song writer Raz hates deeply (Thanks to Simi; Acheron's adopted daughter and guardian whom got Acheron hooked on her music as both started playing her songs constantly.) shows her music isnt just about telephones ringing, disco sticks, paper gangstas and Highway unicorns; that she can also sing about very soul inspiring things like being proud of the way you are and how you look cause you were born to survive and kick @$$. After this lil chat session, our wraith gains a small bit of respect for Lady Gaga.

However; being the stubborn wraith that he is; he'd rather listen to her more soul inspiring songs miles away from Acheron for fear of the dreaded "Told ya she rocks." xD
