kay so... she's supposed to be under a streetlight. ._.;; i failed. miserably.
and her clothes change from day to day... ;>_> but they stick to this generic style or genre.
Name: Wren Carmen
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Race: American/Caucasian
Alliance: Heylin (not true Heylin)
Personality: Very shy and quiet, submissive. She is easily persuaded or wooed, and isn't in too much control of her emotions. Being so, she just might fall for any guy who merely speaks to her. She's down to earth, but loves to daydream a little bit. While not a very violent or aggressive person, she will fight any sort of control or confinement she feels and will act when someone she cares about is on the line. Because of that, she will gladly obey anyone she cares about, to a point.
History: Wren grew up a normal kid in California. Just your average girl who enjoyed stuffed animals and tea parties. She was an only child, and her parents had no idea she would be born with lighting abilities. None of them knew until one summer, when she was nine years old. Her best friend and her family had come over to Wren's house for a swim party, and a fit of giggles caused Wren to unleash her lighting... With absolutely no control or knowledge of it all. A strong volt surged through the water and killed her friend(the others were out of the pool), while Wren continued to giggle, not knowing what was going on.
This strange news became top headlines all over the world. However, when it reached a certain temple for training children like Wren, Master Fung had to step up and contact officials to settle matters. Meanwhile, it had been explained to Wren what had happened and she was dumbfounded. Her best friend's family sued, everyone she knew stopped being around her, and even her parents began to act strangely around her. It was like she was infected with some severely contagious disease. Only being nine, she didn't understand all of this. Eventually Master Fung settled matters surrounding the socalled "murder" and suggested that Wren come to him to have her abilities harnessed.
Of course, her parents declined at first. They wanted to protect their daughter and keep her with them, safe. But as you can guess, this was only to satisfy themselves as they denied it all. The offer remained, however. Just about a month after the offer, they suddenly accepted it, hurrying Wren off. They accepted that they were scared stiff of her and wanted her to be as far away from them as possible, for the good of everyone. In their fit of panic, they even went as far as to disown her, giving her over to Fung and the rest of the monks at the temple that had already been training there. This was all too devastating for Wren. For a while she grew hysterical towards anyone who came in contact with her, and her abilities began to lose control. When this happened, memories of the past events swarmed her until she completely lost it and passed out from it all or shocked herself unconscious. This was the only way anyone could move her, force-feed her, or anything else. When she finally arrived, she was forced to be confined, away from anyone else until she began to calm down. Her fits raged for two days before she accepted food, but still she kept on panicking. It wasn't until a few months after her tenth birthday that she was sane enough for contact, at last.
Wren was released and began to really meet the man who would train her, Master Fung. The girl had had much time to contemplate while confined and her frightened, panicky persona had changed to one stored with hate. She hated her family, the government, her curse, everything. Instantly, when Fung began to suggest she wear a rubber suit to block the energy, and that she would be strictly watched so she could properly harness her abilities, she rebelled. From then on, anything he tried to tell her or tried to have her do, she refused. Wren had turned into an angry, fighting being and didn't want to listen to anything anyone told her. Still, she remained separated from anyone other than Fung and Dojo, to prevent injuries.
After turning eleven years old, somehow Chase Young heard about the new young monk coming for training. He thought it strange how she was so young; most of the others hadn't been sent there yet. And he was curious as to why she was being kept separate. He would have to come and investigate to see how this secret training had been coming along. Most likely, the old man had not told his little trainee about Chase Young. And so, while she was alone in the garden, strolling about boredly, Chase appeared. And like he'd predicted, she had no idea who he was. Cordially he introduced himself and skipped the chatter, launching into attack. Wren shrieked in surprise, but after he mentioned his intentions of testing her, she grinned and began to fight. It went on shockingly(if you'll excust the pun) well for a while, but Wren was fighting with absolutely no control. Just the sheer thrill of releasing her pent up energy and anger at someone who wanted it. But Chase was too good for her; he caught her off gaurd and struck her with what would count as a death blow. Her body thrown into the woods and half the temple left in ruins, Chase left, smirking at how he'd known all along how pathetic that little runt was.
Her body was never found, but Wren did not die. Eventually she came to, and headed off farther into the woods to get away from that temple that she hated so much. From there, she slowly healed herself and trained herself until she gained astonishing control of her abilities. Of course she had to head into cities and such to earn some money, and she'd crash at a hotel or play the love line to get somewhere to stay. During these years, she contemplated alot of things and her personality changed. Free of control, she began to relax and think about her life and everything affecting it. But still, being alone made her shy and nervous, and she easily submits to people. Her life continued like this for several years, until she witnessed the monks going after a shen gong wu. Surprised, she watched from afar. Jack Spicer, though losing, his boyish acts charmed her and she followed him back after the showdown, wanting to meet him. This was a rather bold move for her, and she was surprised at the results. She agreed, though uncomfortable at the thought of control, to work for him to help him gain shen gong wu.
Uhh, other stuff: She adores Jack, but he does not notice and show absolutely no interest in her, so that is sort of a one-sided crush. xD;; I really want to rp her and pair her with another OC. o.o;;
but yarr... there's wren. :B hurr.
