Burro, Phooka + Buliedol, Macabre

Burro: Tough quadrupeds that are useful in farm labor. However they will never attempt a task beyond their strength (they will never fight pokémon that are more experienced) and can give a nasty kick when bothered.
 
Phooka: Brutal bipeds that attack with a large right hand, a clawed left hand and chains for a tail. They're nuts.
 
Buliedol: A dark rag doll that let's itself get beaten up by other pokémon to learn how they fight. Eventually it will use its knowledge to fight back as a Macabre. Based on Ruby Gloom, which started to air in Japan.
 
Macabre: Sinister fighters that use fear tactics to take down their opponents. It was said that its cape was a doorway to the world of nightmares.
