The Elevator Shaft

This person wakes up chained to the floor and gets her instructions via TV. At first it's all dark but she's supposed to stay in darkness. If she looks for light and tries to pull a rope, it will instead pull off the corks of three "piggy banks" above and start pouring metal cuttouts shaped like quarters over her, until she's buried under them enough to be crushed.
To escape, she has to place her hands between the gears that (don't really) open the door and activate the switch that turns them inward. That will crush her hand but bring her close enough to grab the key. Then she has to turn the gears outward to return her hand and go for the lock. Then she has to use the key to finish the electric connection near the door that will open it.

Subject is in trap for being greedy with money.
