Cane Toad
Cane Toad
Cane Toad by TapeJara
Description
Description
A scene that takes place shortly after the Cane Toad first appeared in Australia. The Australian Settler is confused because the toad is not protecting the Sugar Canes, and is instead making its way to the river where it will eat other things.
I've subconsciously given the Toad and the Settler the same colors. It suits them because both are somewhat alike. Both the Toad and the Settler invaded a country that was not theirs and did whatever they wanted with the wildlife. You can even see the toad starting to merge with its landscape, becoming part of it.
